Bassist double bass, arranger and composer he began his classical and jazz studies at the same time. 

He attended the "Siena Jazz" seminars with Maestro Bruno Tommaso from 1980 to 1983. 

In the 80s he played with the Lillian Terry quintet together with Paolo Birro. Later he collaborates

and plays in various formations including: Andrea Beneventano, Massimo Urbani Gigi Sella Carlo Atti etc. In 1983 he was in the quintet with Dizzy Gillespie, for the presentation of the jazz music school of Bassano del Grappa.

In 1985 he plays with the group "City Co" together with Pippo Guarnera, Giulio Capiozzo, Marco Tamburini. In 1987 he went on tour with Mia Martini. 

In 1991 he took part in the "Avantgarde and New trends Jazz Festival" in Forlì with his own compositions and arrangements, enjoying considerable success with critics and the public. 

In 1992 he composed and produced the song "Annatu lu sole", soundtrack and trilers of the film "Sud" directed by Gabriele Salvatores, obtaining the "Nastro d'Argento" award as best soundtrack of the year. In 1996 he presented with the group " Aeon” his first musical compositions at “Sanremo prefestival” with the homonymous album “AEON” published later for RTI SONY MUSIC . 

 In 2004 theEn Zone project was born of which he is the arranger and composer. The first Albums are published with the “IRMARECORS” label.
